He had the privilege of choosing the time of his passing. Something all people should have the right to.

Was he suffering from any ailments, illnesses?

To each their own. I hope I don't reach that level of despair or suffering of any kind to desire take such action. It doesnt say specifically in the article if he was suffering from anything. I was under the assumption this assisted action would only be accepted under certain circumstances and with doctors confirmation and approval.

Regardless. Each person has their own choices in these matters.

Belgium minor first to be granted euthanasia

A terminally-ill minor has become the first to be helped to die in Belgium since age restrictions on euthanasia requests were removed two years ago, officials say.

The head of the federal euthanasia commission confirmed the case but gave no further details.

Belgium is the only country that allows minors of any age to choose euthanasia.

They must have rational decision-making capacity and be in the final stages of a terminal illness.

The parents of the under-18 year olds must also give their consent.

Still agree it should be wide open ?

There need to be safeguards and controls but if a minor is agony then a quick a painless death is better than long drawn out painful death. If ISIS had your child and there was a choice of them getting a bullet through the back of the head today or being raped and tortured to death over many months you would probably not want the latter. This is the same thing except instead of ISIS it's a terminal disease.

    Yes. Unequivocally.

Children shouldn't have to suffer just because they are children.

It's good that Mr. Kinsella could end his life on his own terms.

Why did that child have to die because of the leftist decisions made by the faceless bureaucrats in Belgium? Just another attempt to eliminate the white race.
