Three people are dead, all of whom had apparent crossbow injuries, in the Scarborough region of Toronto on Thursday afternoon.

    In Sacramento we don't have any hate crimes because the police refuse to classify anything as a hate crime. Therefore we don't have any hate crimes. :roll:

    Police say the man who placed the call to 911 is one of the deceased.

    I just have to say that I found this so weird the first time I read it. 8O

    He placed the call and died after the police showed up.

    Poor bastard must have suffered. :cry:

    Musta been stabbing them with the bolt in his hand. Don't want to hear the weapons-control advocates start to go on about "rapid-fire fully-automatic" crossbows or whatever other new perversion of technical details they've got developing in their empty little heads. :roll:

    I used to bowhunt a lot. The only instant kill is a side shot that hits both lungs and heart. Anything else, will cause death through bleeding. Not a nice way to go. :(

    This happened on a driveway and inside a garage.

    You could use a youth crossbow and be hand spanning bolts in under 5 seconds. If you knew what you were doing.

    Inside that range, it would still be very lethal.
