Russian investigators are hunting two men linked to an international extremist group who may have encouraged a nanny to behead a child in her care.

Police believe that Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, who was found clutching a childs head on a Moscow street on Monday, was acting under the influence of unnamed accomplices who are still at large.

During analysis of contacts saved in Bobokulovas electronic devices, investigators identified two subscribers connected with an international extremist group, a law enforcement source told Interfax.
