Give indigenous people veto power over development on their lands

A coalition of resource companies, financial institutions, First Nations and conservation organizations has recommended that aboriginal bands have veto power over development on their traditional lands.

the only issue with that is if you add up all the 'land' that they 'claim' to be theirs, the total is greater than the land mass of the country. I do see problems with that!
