And now it just got real.

I wonder how the Gov'ts will handle this one. Every other murder in the region has been labelled as "targeted" which, likely means don't scare the natives but, now with innocent bystanders being offed all bets are off and they're going to have to come up with a new strategy to explain away the danger quotient to the non thug citizens.

I read about this earlier today and of course it was on the noon news.

CTV has a bit more info in their article:

How horrible for the family who lost this fellow.

Amen. The poor family had gawdawful neighbors and now they've lost a loved one because the jackasses have to be jackasses.

fck me, why can't the gang bangers head to a remote spot and duke it out cowboy style?

no one cares if useless idiots off each other but no need to drag in innocent bystanders...

No doubt. The drug-turf war has been going on in the Vancouver area for years. It goes back and forth between rival groups and it seems now and then innocent people are in the wrong place at the wrong time. The assholes should just duke it out somewhere away from everyone else and be done with it.

Thankfully no. But he's still revered like Scarface, despite that people know how that story ends.

I remember the feud between him and the Dosanjh boys on TV

I remember one of those gang members worked at the same place as my ex for awhile. One of the Gills I think (or was it a Dosanjh or Johal...) I'm pretty sure he was shot but I don't recall now if he was one of the ones who died. That feud went back and forth. Nasty shit.
