Trivia sidebar: This happened in 2012, but that time it was fires from Siberia causing it.

Local forests burning could cause a run on snack foods.

What...you mean like wieners and marshmallows, or something?

Yeah, I woke up this morning to a heavy "overcast", my first thought was....RAIN??!! I couldn't smell any smoke and there was a nice breeze blowing but alas, it was only the haze.....

    ROTFL

You really don't have a clue, do you?

    Honestly?

On why forest fires would cause a run on snack foods, you mean? I genuinely don't. Do you?

Go ahead, tell me then, cause I'm racking my brain.

There is definitely a different odour when you're burning some good B.C. Bud...bud...

Used to love driving from Abbotsford up through Mission. The smell of Cedar was nice.

    Thought Cannabis Day was over?

But seriously, the central Island is still covered with a nice red haze. It's weird though. The thermometer on the fence reads 91 degrees F with no sun so it's still freakin hot out with the added bonus of not being able to breath outside.

Heap big inversions in Vancouver, just like LA's.
