Maybe the health minister should take the cue and draft a health plan for pot. It's coming eventually, might as well start laying the ground work for it's safe "legal" introduction into society.

Not the right thing to do politically. Demonizing pot plays to the base and allows demonizing JT. No benefit to legalizing for the Reformacons, nobody will vote for them just because they took that step, but some will vote against them or stay home if they did legalize. Just as with climate change, we're going to be on the back end of the curve, just as in the US, sub-federal jurisdictions will find ways to legalize or close to it.

Vancouver is actually being restrictive with this initiative - it will become way more expensive to operate, many dispensaries will have to move, and likely the number that will stay in business will decline. I think it's a very good move on the part of Vancouver, even if legally it seems to be in a gray zone.

What a big, steaming load of pure partisan bullshit.

If memory serves, she once told someone in parliament to shut their respective trap. She needs to do the same.

    Think of the children!!!
No Rona, they're adults. I'm thinking of my grandchildren who don't need a dispensary across from their school OR a criminal record...
Do a speaking tour of BC 2 weeks before the election please. The NDP, Libs, Marc Emery should be happy to pay for it. I'll even chip in.
