'Bias' concerns led tax agency to target left-leaning think-tank

A left-leaning think-tank was targeted by the Canada Revenue Agency for a political-activities audit last fall partly because the research and education material on its website appears to be 'biased' and 'one-sided.'

'Bias' at a political think tank. What was the CRA expecting, neutrality? I think they are providing that flimsy excuse as a way to protect the real culprit, political intereference.

    Harper's vindictiveness knows no bounds.

Campbell added that CRA officials never raised concerns about partisanship or political activities after the 2002 audit.

"And we have not changed our practices since then," he said.

Why do we have a government body that investigates actions to see if they are lawful or not, a spokesmen can just say they aren't doing anything thing wrong!

What a waste of government time and money. They can just have someone say they are following the law.

I'll give him credit for being inspired by Obama.

Well, I won't complain to much about it, or I'm sure I'll have auditors crawling up my ass at tax time.
