William Guarnere, a World War II veteran popularized by the "Band of Brothers" miniseries, has died. He was 90.

    Very true, If not for ordinary men like Bill Guarnere being put into an extraordinary situation and excelling we'd be facing a very different history. Rest now, you've earned it.

    Agreed the greatest generation is dieing off fast. Read an artical that there is only one Windtalker left from WWII.
