Once again, bullshit. So they didn't record the actual calls or emails of people at the airport? If you follow me home, you are still spying on me!!

CSEC is forbidden from targeting the private communications of Canadians such as emails and phone calls. However, metadata is not considered private communication for the spy service's purposes.

All data collection should be forbidden, without a targeted warrant held to the highest standard.

If they had nothing to hide why didn't they tell the public they were collecting our electronic data? Because they knew Canadians don't approve of the collection of our data, meta or not.

It says the effort was used by CSEC to understand global communication networks and was not directed at Canadians or people in Canada.

All this from an Airport WIFI?

They tracked people from Pearson Airport to places like Hong Kong and Israel. But of course, bugging phones in a Canadian airport wasn't directed at Canadians or people in Canada.

Committee members interviewed members of an organization whose employees are paid to conceal what they do and lie and determined everything was ducky, based on their word.

Watchdog Committee Chairman Roo rules nothing wrong with what they did here!

Public is shocked at outcome they never saw coming.
