Statistics Canada says police recorded 543 homicides in Canada in 2012, down 55 from the previous year, as the country had its lowest homicide rate since 1966.

    Yeah, but those are only the reported homicides. We know from Vic Toews that unreported homicides are way up, along with all unreported crime.

    What this has taught me is don't f&*k with an Eskimo!

    What that taught me was to evaluate statistics. Nunavut has apopulation of 30,000 - so 1 murder is automatically 3 in 100,000. 14 makes about 5 murders.

    True. However, how many towns of 30,000 do you hear of having 5 murders a year?
