A spokesman for the National Farmers Union says the ad is offensive, adding it will likely cause farmers to sell their grain elsewhere.

    ROTFL

I think your members are smarter than that.
They are certainly smarter than you.

With all the complaints about this add in 2013, I wonder what the response was to it when it was first introduced in 1969.....XXX rated or just hard core porn..... 8)

The original painting Hi-Ho, Silver was created by U.S. pinup artist Gil Elvgren in 1969, but it has resurfaced in recent weeks in the wheat board ad and on its website.

When did we become such prudes? Holy shit. If we can't bitch, we ain't happy, are we.

"What a long legged girl straddling a fence has to do with selling grain is beyond me". I'm sure. What a butcher has to do with a $14,995 car hanging from the ceiling, is beyond me too. Your point? Geesh.

Volkswagen was created by Hitler. Their SUV is named after a semi-nomadic tribe in North Africa, the Toureg. Which was all fine till the Toureg started burning manuscripts and killing people in Mali and Timbuktu. Their best selling cars, the Polo and Golf, are each one letter different from Chairman Mao's GLF and the Islamic terror group PLO.

    See the connection?

    /sarcasm
