Suprise suprise.......not. The growing power of the Islamists. Where have I heard that before. Oh yeah Eygpt another of those countries where the Arab Spring was going to bring peace, harmony, equality and democracy.

It's time we started reevaluating our interference in countries that weren't havens for Islamic extremism since every time we go near one it turns into a worse shithole than what we tried to save them from.

For some strange reason we seem to be quite happy that we've given power to the very people we're at war with.

As the story indicates, these actions are by rogue elements. The Government itself is trying to counter-act these things.

What was the alternative, let Quadaffi(sp) stay in power when we have wanted to be rid of him for decades?

    Fail.

It's the same shit as usual.
Same as Iraq in 2003, Gaza in 2005.

Have a look at the country, start thinking about the possibilities
for opening businesses, tourism, language, import / export...

and watch the Islamists take it all away from the people because
their moron Allah likes them to play with guns and make religion into politics.

    Fucking idiots.

Eh, unlike Egypt, which was basically lost once the Muslim Brotherhood was elected, I give Libya more benefit of the doubt. The Libyan government isn't too organized right now, and there are way too many militias running around attempting to carve out their little gang territories. Libya might actually not turn out to be a massive disaster.
