Butterflies have migrated across Eastern Canada this spring in unprecedented numbers, reflecting the warm winter throughout North America and raising alarm bells about what it might mean for other species.

    At the risk of seemingly going to the the gay place; we had a migration of 'Painted Ladies' a couple years back where there were butterflies heading south af far as the eye could see, for 2 days. It was amazing.

    No, not really. It's kind of anticlimactic to take a pic of a butterfly, when there are thousands flying through the fields. Pics didn't quite capture it, at least with my poor photographic skill.
