    Can't see the NDP numbers staying up when the honeymoon is over.

    Exactly. This happens all the time and unless Mulcair becomes the anti-NDP their numbers will drop back to their usual position.

    That's what they said when Jack Layton brought the numbers where they are.. Wait until the new leader is chosen.. Still waiting. They represent the best option for defeating Harper at the moment, and it's very popular.

    A majority ruling party can screw up as much as it wants the first 3-4 years.
    It's the last year before elections you have to keep your nose clean.
