The last total lunar eclipse of the year is Saturday. And there won't be another one for three years.

    In the West, we'll also be able to see the sun rising during the total eclipse. !! Yes, Atmosphereic lensing will make it look like the sun and moon are above the horizon at the same time, but they in actuality won't be.

    I'm SO glad I face east and already have a great view of the sunrise. I hope it's a clear morning so that the viewing is all that much better.

    I always enjoy watching a lunar eclipse. It is magnificent to see a astrophysical phenomena like that.
