The Obama administration's decision to suspend $800 million in aid to the Pakistan's military signals a tougher U.S. line with a critical but sometimes unreliable partner in the fight against terrorism.

    A long overdue decision that should have been made about twenty years ago. And let the Chinese have them then if they want them as their regional 'allies'. Both states are rotten and deserve each other. Pakistan'll eventually backstab China as much as they did to the United States.

    Western China is full of restive Muslims that the Pakiban would try and train and arm. Sick the Indians on them, as they have a better reason than most to hate the traitorous vermin.

    Good luck with that, and good luck with trying to make something positive with any possible outcome. What will India's 150 million Muslims do if India goes to war with Pak? What would be the effect of a drastically damaged Indian with a nuclear exchange with Pak - China would love that, except for the fallout. (But who knows where that would go). What would the Umma do in case of a war with India? Holy poking a wasp nest with a stick, Batman.

    Yep. A corrupt vipers nest. At the moment the US and UK are funding a regime that covertly supports the Taliban. A good chunk of the IED's are laid by Pakistani Taliban and the Jihadis get comfort, aid and support from Pakistan.
