I never condoned women killing their babies. All I ever said, was that I could understand their reasoning.

I am thinking she will get off, btw. The story says "she knew he was going to kill their baby", but hello, just giving birth to it in a goddamned car, in NO physical condition to do anything? She has 5 other kids to look after, which apparently she has done in the right way so far, since they all lived with her.

Please explain their reasoning to me? I don't get that, and don't think that women should get an out for killing their babies. I can feel sympathy that they were in a disturbed state of mind, but so are many male killers, and I don't want them getting off or a reduced sentence either.

If she knew he was going to kill the baby, the leas she could have done is call the cops. I hope she gets some sort of sentence as well as him. Too bad for her other kids, but should they really be left to live with her anyway?
