This sounds like a thug like tactic the Colonel might use.

It the cuture in that part of the world when a woman gets gets raped it is generally considered HER fault.

Been SOP for millenia though, regardless of whose army it was. And still is SOP for many marauding armies that aren't "western", since the "modern era" of war, including the Japanese and Russians last century.

Yea, pretty typical tactics of war; kill the men, rape the women, enslave the kids. Doesn't make it right by any means.
