Three people face a laundry list of charges after allegedly taking guns and drugs to a party in their car.
At about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, police took note of "suspicious activity" occurring in a vehicle near the 400 block of Westwood Drive in St. Charles, and pulled the driver over to take a closer look.
Inside, they found a small amount of crack cocaine and some open booze.
After searching the car further, police discovered a sawed-off shotgun and two semi-automatic handguns with ammunition in the trunk, as well as stashes of crack and powder cocaine and marijuana.
A 30-year-old man with alleged gang ties and a 41-year-old man with a history of lesser drug offences were arrested and are in custody at the remand centre, police spokesman Const. Jason Michalyshen said.
A 19-year-old woman was also arrested and released on a promise to appear.

Hmmm. That's right near where I grew up. Looks like not much has changed. These are the guys who show up whenever there is a party happening.
