If the television broadcasters get their way, there'll be no election debate sequel for Green Party Leader Elizabeth May. The broadcast consortium that hosts the televised debates has decided May is not welcome to participate this time.

best news I've heard all day, unfortunately this may be the spring board she needs to get elected.

She doesn't deserve to be there anyways. Hell, Duceppe shouldn't be welcome either.

Good. I was totally in support of her being there last time on account of she had a seat at dissolution. But she couldn't keep that seat, win her own, or win any other. Now she doesn't have a seat so she doesn't deserve a place at that table.

I also think she's got a pretty big hurdle despite this in unseating a Minister. If I lived in Saanich-Gulf Islands, I'd suck it up and vote Conservative just to help lay the democratic smackdown on her.

Oh boy, Little Lizzy is gonna be mad. Good for the networks though, they final listened. now lets just see how it takes for them to cave and and let her join.

By the way, who's she running against in her riding?

    *oh forget I found it
    Con-Gary Lunn
    Libs-Rene Hetherington
    NDP - Edith Loring-Kuhanga

So once again harper is blocking democracy and don't try and say he isn't behind it.
If we are to make choices we should hear all leaders no matter the size of the party.

I say why not bring her to the debate.
Her presence will help make the other leaders look intelligent and credible.
