Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi said he made up a story told to German intelligence officials throughout 2000 about mobile biological weapons and clandestine factories. His motive was to overthrow the Iraqi government

    Where is the "News" here? The Germans even said they were not confident in the source. It was the US that ignored that assessment. This is only news to the CIA I guess.

    An Iraqi defector has admitted for the first time he fabricated claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction


    I thought it was interesting.

    I thought it was interesting.


    Wasn't bugging you for posting it, just whoever wrote it to tell everyone what they already knew. At any rate I guess the guy got what he wanted, Iraqi government fell and now things are much better.

    Be nice if about 4500 families of dead American, British, and other Allied servicemen put a hit out on this fucking guy, with orders that his liquidation should consist of at least one week of slow and agonizing pain. Son of a bitch! :evil:

    Yeah, that's it, it's all his fault. In another article, it says he couldn't believe when he heard Colin Powell repeat his stuff word for word. He tried to alert German authorities, but they told him to keep his mouth shut and put him in jail for 90 days, threatened that his wife would be refused entry. He was just a convenient patsy that allowed Bush to do what he had already decided. Same with the stuff that Chalabi guy was spewing, telling them they would be received as liberators etc. So there are a lot of people that bear more responsibility that his guy.

    Oh no nothing to do with WMDs, Iraq was invad...ahem I mean liberated because it broke UN resolutions, or atleast thats what the consensus was last time we talked about it here.
