    Here's another one.

Yep, no integration going on here. Let?s have another 300,000 come in to Canada this year.

However, a local Muslim leader says there is no reason for young kids to be held out of music or phys-ed classes based on religious and cultural grounds.

Who is advising them? My first concern would be who are these new immigrants talking to? said Shahina Siddiqui, executive director of the Islamic Social Services. This is the first time I am hearing this; Im not very happy about it.

Good. Methinks separate changing rooms is enough.

Music I don't care, let em miss it. But phys ed is important and so is learning to be with kids of the opposite gender. But we know how it's going to turn out - the board will cave. Then maybe be sued for not providing equal but separate facilities.

Equal but separate - wasn't there a US supreme court case about that? Something about it not being good enough?

Why can they miss music but not PE?
Knowledge is wisdom, and there is no better way to express your feelings than through music.

Take a look at that: https://www7.mels.gouv.qc.ca/DC/ECR/index_en.php

They replaced economics, religious and moral classes with that.

On paper, it looks good. But in pratics, it's a brainwashing course. All the religions are egal. They learn about all of them and "learn" to understand that praying towards the Mecca and washing your feet in the school bathroom is the same thing then wearing a necklace with a cross. That feminism (extremism feminism) is the new society. etc. etc.

Those classes are OBLIGATORY. You cannot opt out. Like I said, on paper it looks like a good course. That's nothing like that. Most parents are against but it's here to stay. We will teach your kid how to think and behave. But well... It's Quebec...

I strongly suggest those families move to a country where their children won't have to be in contact with our awful western ways.

Knowledge is wisdom, and there is no better way to express your feelings than through music.

Because most of them will never grow up to play music anyway. Nothing wrong with music classes, I just don't consider them essential. PE, I do.

    Why?
They have recess to "mingle" and "learning to be with kids".

(I agree with you PE is essential, but I also think music and sex ed are essential. I would even go as far as personal hygiene classes to be essential)

In addition, most of them won't grow up using biology (for example), but it is still taught.

Fuck that, if they skip arts, or PE, they better have a real reason to.

Didn't we spend hundreds of years trying to get puritans out of government affairs? Just to let them back in again through the guise of Islam.
