CALGARY The Salvation Army says it refuses to distribute Harry Potter and Twilight toys collected for needy children because they're incompatible with the charity's Christian beliefs.

I'd also not expect the Red Crescent to be redistributing Canadian bacon as a relief supply.

What do wizards, vampires and werewolfs have to do with Christian principles?

    Good.

The less people who like Twilight or know about them, the better.

Not just a charity, but a Christian branch, like Catholic, or Mormon. I know a few people who are 'Salvation Army'. One hold the rank of Major.

This sounds like a regional choice made by narrow minded individuals and then masqueraded as policy. It happens in most all large organizations. According to the article that seems to be the case with the "war toys". As for the Harry Potter and Twilight toys this seems very silly indeed.

Now to go to a ridicules point (which the situation warrants). Hmm, didn't Jesus have his own Vampire moment? This is my Body, This is my Blood, now eat drink and be merry!

Some public schools ban real Christams carols.
Some Sally Ann locations ban Potter and Twilight.

    Where's the problem?
