The U.S. should really just border up there southern borders and not allow tourists there. What has Mexico done for anybody? Besides importing millions of illegal immigrants that free load off of American society or join Mexican gangs like MS 13 who are over a million members strong. Who also bring over drugs to feed many Americans drug habbits. I don't really see any benefit to Mexico. They are turning America into shit. Americans really need to fix this mess before it starts spilling into Canada. Though I hope Canada is way to cold for all that illegal immigration to spill up here. Just my related opinion I have wanted to say for awhile.

Mexico is not safe and their crap is spilling over into the US. Thank God for the fence Bush built! My friends who live along the border no longer have to contend with hordes of illegals pillaging their property anymore and they no longer have to chase off illegal immigration advocates who trespassed onto their ranch to set out supplies for the illegals.

Ive been working in Mexico for the last 4 months. Ive been from Hermosillo, San Luis Potosi, all over Guerrero State,Driven basically the entire west coast to almost Guatemala and now iam currently in outside of Oaxaca City. Ive walked the streets alone at night and ive been in run down dirty bars by myself and i havent had a problem. The only problem ive had so far was with the federali's....

If you want to survive this country you cant show off your money and act like superstar in the streets. The majority of mexicans are nice people.....

If they know you they're nice. If you're just another Norte Americano gringo pindejo to them then, no, they're not so nice at all.

You mean im just another foreigner to the ones i dont know. How does that different from any other country? Just because they dont run out onto the streets to greet me and shake my hand automatically makes them assholes?

That is bull shit. Most Mexicans are nice people and very helpful to others in the community. It's people like you who makes some Mexicans to dislike us. I lived in El Paso for three years and I live in Skagit County in Washington State. We have a good size Mexican community do to the farms. They are doing a great job and all they are doing is trying to earn a living and raise a family.

Dude, I'm not talking about the Mexicans in Lynden or Bellingham, I mean the people who live in Chihuahua or Sinaloa or etc. My wife and I go to Jalisco on occasion to build schools with a local group and the Mexicans who take us along warn us to be careful of people outside our group.

#1 I would not go there if I didn't like them.
#2 I also have a penchant to pay attention to the locals when they warn me off about other locals. No different than if I went to Dubai and had someone tell me not to shake hands or touch food with my left hand.

Ten years ago it was not so bad, but right now it's pretty awful in Mexico with some exceptions. Cabo San Lucas is still pretty safe and so is Cozumel, but places that used to be friendly to tourists like Acapulco, Mazatlan, Ixtapa, and even Puerto Vallarta and Zihuatenejo are now less safe for tourists than Beirut and that's not a joke.

England, Holland, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Denmark. I even enjoyed Dubai! Great gold shopping, clean and next to no crime where we were.

My son went, but it was just a stopover on the way to Kandahar. :(
