Nunavut uncorks EU liquor ban

Nunavut is countering the European Union's trade ban on seal products with its own import ban of wines, scotches, spirits and other liquor from EU countries.

If we really want to get their attention, the ban should be nationwide.

I would rather drink European liquor - good stuff to be had there. I don't give a shit about the seal industry. I doubt an EU liquor ban in Nunavut will have much effect on the EU. Not many wine connoisseurs there. Now a Listerine and Vanilla Extract ban, that would hurt.
