How was your week? Glenn Becks was pretty good, thanks. On Saturday he stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and faced a crowd conservatively estimated at one million people (but liberally estimated at 87,000). Something that is beyond man is happe

When we stop arguing about national policy, and instead we bicker about cultural baggage that has no real significance, we've tossed the country to the dogs.

Topics such as race, multiculturalism, religion, abortion, and heritage don't have a place in modern Canadian politics. There are far more pressing, policy oriented issues that are more important than a culture war between social conservatives, and social liberals.

The article is totally condescending towards Tory voters.

Does Paul Wells really think that right-of-centre voters vote Tory because they are afraid that Christianity is dwindling and that there isnt enough respect for our veterans?

Really? What a load of old bollocks. I voted Tory last time because they aint as shit as the Liberals. End ex.

Here's a news flash for the partisan Libs. I'll vote Liberal when the Libs are less shit than the Tories. My vote has always been up for grabs.

Considering that Harper probably hasn't shoved half the GDP of Bolivia up his nose, or live called on radio a woman who just lost her baby in order to crack a joke about miscarriages at her, I'd say he probably has zero in common with that Beck SOB.
