I think Gaddafi should pay Europe, because he apparently cannot stop Africans from leaving the continent. It's all his fault!

I don't see paying a Barbary corsair extortion money, but I do agree with Khaddafi on his other comments that Europe in in danger of being overrun by immigrants. Funny no one calls Khaddafi a 'racist' for saying something like that.

Actually, it isnt. There are a few of these quiet deals with North African
countries, to help them turn back people before they get near the coast.
Whacky is obviously the only one dumb enough to broadcast it.

There is actually a very good chance that Gaddafi will be snubbed in the next AU meeting, as he was in the last.

Also to Martin's interesting remarks, I would say most people who are not African have a dislike for Africans (from the Sub Saharan region).

Doesn't really stop them though.

Finally, my personal view on illegal immigration to Europe is that one way or another, Europe will suffer in the long run.

Either Africa will need to release its excess populations (which won't happen), as Europe did for the past 400 years with their excess people, or the masses will eventually overthrow their own leaders and set up far more Afro-centric nationalistic tribalistic states, that will become reclusive and perhaps even resource protectionist. Either way, Europe will suffer.

Just recently, Europe had offered North African countries a chance to produce power for it, and the Sub Saharans are refusing, claiming, "we don't have electricity, why should we help you?".

Many African leaders are actually helping the Western world greatly, they keep stability, they keep resources cheap for global market, and they don't dabble with terrorists (apart from your dearest, Gaddafi).

This will change if these leaders cannot create jobs for the quickly growing masses. They will revolt and topple what they perceive as western, and Arab puppets.

This has already happened in Madagascar, an Asian puppet was overthrown for selling arable land cheaply to South Korean firm Deawoo for food production to be exported back to Korea. The deal was immediately "reviewed" and cancelled by the new government.

This will happen more often, as the masses begin to assert themselves and the foreign backed leaders begin losing their footing.

The days when the military would take over from the elected governments are now being rapidly reversed, where the masses demand that the military move out.

The future of both Africa and Europe is very interesting indeed.
