I think the Russians handled the hijackers well.

A rubber inflatable boat 350 miles off the coast with no propulsion or nav equipment is great.

Small price to pay. I suggest the IMF set up a rubber boat fund and this become the standard policy on how to deal with pirates. Source the rubber from some fly by night company in China, so it turns out to dissolve in seawater or something.

I seriously doubt that the Russians wasted a rubber boat on these vermin.

OK, OK. But we're civilized people. Can't we at least give them water wings or something?

Sure. I'm thinking along the lines of chuck steak water wings to help them in those shark infested waters.

See, that's the difference between Canadians and Americans. You're bloodthirsty savages, we're much more refined about these matters.

Instead of wasting a perfectly good raft, give them only a 4'x 8' sheet of plywood, and somehow use metal grommets and rope to tie them to the plywood.

Despotic and corrupt nations can get away with this stuff.

If our Army farts near a Taliban prisoner some MP or other will be claiming that the CF are inhumane crazies with C7's and we will set up a Commons Select Committee to investigate the said farting incident.

    Mmmmmm, something is wrong somewhere.

Be careful or someone will subpoeana you before a select Parliamentary Committee to investigate these allegations of your of these horrible farting incidents in which the Muslim faith of poor Taliban militants was insulted.
