The widow of one of two Albertans killed in a massive avalanche that struck a snowmobiling tournament on a B.C. mountainside in March says she is relieved no charges will be laid against the event organizer although she still hasn't forgiven him.

Of course there's someone to blame - the numbnuts that died. They put themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The 'news' is that every time anything goes wrong, society is always looking to lay the blame on someone else. The heretofore accepted mantra has been " It's not my fault. Waaah. " Oh, you poor dear. We completely agree"!

Maybe things will finally start to change back to 'placing the blame where it belongs'.
Could it be that 'Too bad, so sad, sucks to be you. Man-up' will become the new mantra, as it should?

Yeah, good luck with that. Guy gets killed snowmobiling in avalance country - what a surprise seeing that it happens almost every week. And yet still, someone other than the guy on the snowmobile must be to blame.

    Figures.

I understand in trying to make sense of the tragedy, the widow wants to blame someone. Eventually, she'll realise it was her own husband on the snowmobile taking his chance. Till then, bathe in the media attention.

So when I cross the street, it's news too?

Anywho, I am glad no charges are being laid, because like the friends said, they would have gone up there anyway.
I just dont like her saying that the organizer of the event is a "coward" for not talking to her. It's not his responsibility and not talking to her doesnt make him a "coward".
