The Conservative government's planned series of reforms to the criminal justice system could cost tens of billions of dollars based on the estimated cost of just one of them � as calculated by the parliamentary budget officer.

    So..... when exactly did cutting taxes while increasing spending become "conservative" fiscal policy?

    10 billion here, 6 billion GST cut there, all while paying for a war and bailing out auto manufacturing plants. /rant

    Bailing out the manufacturing plants were the work of the Liberal/NDP coalition, the Conservatives had a choice, go in debt or lose power

    Oh No, to see someone properly punished for their crime is certainly not a Canadian value./ sarcasm



    This is a great idea especially with regards to pre-sentencing confinement, for those found not guilty a buy out of $100 per month should suffice!
