CFB Greenwood without clean drinking water

About 250 people living on Nova Scotia's Canadian Forces Base Greenwood have been without their regular supply of clean drinking water for nearly a month.

I'd be wanting to know how the perfluorooctane sulfonate got into the system in the first place, and then be awful curious as to what else may have leeched in there. Frightening.
