the second was not an invasion..

    it was liberation and recovery.

Sad to think the victims will be charged...

I was ready to cheer for the retaliators when I read the headline, Not so much when I read the story. Defending yourself in your home is one thing, and should be supported. Going to somebody else's home to exact vigilante justice is another. If we support that, we might as well get rid of the police and justice system, go back to the Afghani or Sicilian way of blood feuding.

Sounds like a regular brawl. Put them all in the tank to cool down until things can sort out.

Is there something in the water in Manitoba? It seems like a lot of these weird stories are coming out of there these days.

My room mate and I were victims of a very similar situation years ago in Ft. MacMurray. We handled the situation in the exact same manner as the victims in this case. When we got back home with the rest of our stolen property, ( we purposely left my wifes purse with ID behind) I phoned the cops. Of course the other guys that we had broken into their place and beat the living shit out of them. My response to the police was " What else would you expect them to say? They know they are in deep trouble"! Cop says " Sounds reasonable to me".

They each got 18 months!
