Normally I would be the first one to criticize Russian "heavy hand oppressive treatment" of those who dissent; but in this case I actually wish them success in crushing the scum who killed a number of people simply minding their own business on what should have been a peaceful day.

Its just that Russians dont have a good track record of having good judgement on who is at fault.

Normally I don't care much for Russia... but in this instance I'll wish them good luck on their hunting trip.

So the fight will move back to Chechnya.. fine.

No Guantanamo, no public circus trials, no worries about
what to do with one dying on the battlefield.

    Sounds good all around.

I still think they are going to take this way too far.

"Crueller" treatment? What are they going to use? Nukes? Sarin gas? Seriously, they bombed Grozny to the point of non-existence in the last conflict.

I don't have any sympathy for terrorists, but, I'm not exactly sure how much "Crueller" Russia can get.

Hows about Ivan the Terrible Cruel ? :)

Russia has long history of blood, I'm sure they'll find
something new for all the tree hugging peaceniks to cry about.
