First black V.C. commemorated on stamp

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia ï¿½ William Hall, the first black person and the first Nova Scotian to receive the Victoria Cross, has been honoured with an international commemorative stamp.

This is a bit of an odd statement, the man was awarded our highest award and there are books written about his heroics
