Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave a speech before a crowded Calgary audience on Saturday, marking her first appearance outside of the U.S. since she left her post as Alaska's governor.

    They must be really starved for something to do in Calgary to want to actually spend a good pice of money to listen to this bird brain or was it provincial penence for Lent?

    I'd go if the price were more reasonable. I'd go if I was richer, and wasn't freaked by what the ticket price is.

    I get the reaction of the Left though. I have a similar reaction when I hear about them shelling out a hundred and some odd bucks to see Al Gore speak. "What are they, nuts?", I think to myself.

    Even if I was rich enough for the $220 ticket, I'd still just get $160 one. I could hear her just fine from the back of the room.
