A third-party investigation has found that millions of dollars' worth of gold were not stolen from the Royal Canadian Mint's vaults as originally feared, says the institution.

    Nice job keeping our gold!!!
    At the jobs I worked 10$ missing was a big thing....but hey....15 mil....no worries...must be an error...

    "14 month investigation to the Mint's missing gold?" For such a secure establishment, it took so long tono one could account for this? Sounds like someone is covering their ass. Having worked in a similiar establishment, we accounted for 99.98% of our materials used except for "estimating" the amount lost to the fume extractor and burn off.

    Why does that suprise you? David Dingwald wrote the expense account rules that let him write off gum and bottles of water so why do you expect he'd care about someone elses gold?
