Nato's secretary general has said members will do "substantially more" to contribute to the fight against al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

    How many of these troops that NATO is pledging will actually do something useful, ie. combat or training?

    The writting is on the wall. Everyone is jumping ship and the Afghans are going to be left holding the bag in 2011. So much for all the talk everyone had going into this.
