Oh well, should be entertaining at least.
Expect to see guys like this on the courtroom steps performing for the camera.
The government can't reveal it's full deck without compromising how they got that information.
People like this deserve to die, lying in a ditch after they get nailed by a Hellfire missile. No fanfair or trial, just a painful, lingering death of exposure and crippling wounds. Send some people to get some DNA and the rest gets left to the dogs.
The big O's been screwing up so bad lately it would challenge a Moonie to retain faith in the guy.
The ol "it's all Bush's fault" excuse is starting to get old. It's time for a false flag play.
So he brings the terrorists to New York for a trial, rather than the military tribunal everybody was calling for. It turns into a media circus. Protesters on the courthouse steps, giant security parades spending millions getting Muhammed between the jail and the court, defense attorneys calling for old torture info and military secrets to be released. (Added bonus - it will direct attention to old Bush piccadillos).
While this is all going on, and all eyes are upon it, he slips cap and trade through with some kind of sneaky trick. It's the only way he might actually get something done, he said he was going to do.
- The London Tube bombers? Tried in a London civillian court.
- The Madrid Train Bombers? Tried in a Madrid Civilian court.
- The Bali bomber? Given an open, public trial in Indonesia.
- The only survivor of the Bombay attacks? Given a trial in a Mumbai courtroom.
This is about the rule of law and the proper exercise of civilian courts in meteing out justice. To use a military tribunal on an island that doesn't allow observers smacks of authoritarianism and of a government whose case couldn't stand the light of truth.
Does you idiots
Classic.
Apply your superior brain to the puzzle, and see if you can't figure out why this case is different.
NO need for a trial.
Does you idiots
Classic.
Dammit....FWIW, I am a good speller, just a poor typist.
