Eddy, Eddy, Eddy, all this announcement does, is it makes a good headline. ROTFL

    Yeah.

    A $12000 cut giving themselves a $50000+ raise.

Hey I'll do that: give me a $50000 raise, (I'm sure we've all seen those before ), and then take a $12000 pay "cut".

    At bit off topic,

At least it's better than the ''idiots'' we have here in the province of Quebec. They keep spending taxpayer's money, no cuts in governement spending or any of their interests. Bureaucrats, public sector, want to stike if they do not get an outrageous increase in salaries and benefits.

Meanwhile, the population will be expected to pay thru increases everywhere thru Government owned companies. That's great.

Not a case of leadership by example...

All these Alberta provincial threads are a good distraction away from the Ontario E-health problems.

It's not a distraction, it's highlighting the possibility that the provincial PCs here may go the way of the dodo bird, like the Socreds in 1971. When a party that's been in office for over 40 years is on the verge of falling, it's an event.
