Like ground squirrels oblivious to a swooping hawk, the only survival tactic is hoping the raptor nabs the other guy instead of you.

I don?t think the RCMP even bother with speeding much now that Alberta have Sheriffs helping them out. We have a highway patrol unit here and the parking lot always seems to be full of police cars. The only time you notice cars missing are around meal times. They have an unmarked Chev pickup and that seemed to work good, but it?s just used now by the town cops to park on the street to catch seatbelt infractions.

Nothing new, they used to use airplanes all the time back in the 90s, that's why those lines are painted on Hwy 2 every few kms.

How about back to the 70's  But thanks for pointing that out, here I always thought those white lines were gopher crosswalks.
