They want to come back to the negotiation table now.

Well I think the offer of $250M for 400 acres of land and to be given an additional 2000 acres of prime real estate on the edge of K Country in return, was a pretty reasonable offer. I don?t think they?ll get a better one now.

Both the City and Province have had enough of this issue. With the green-lighting today of newer interchanges along the affected route they've finally figured out that it's pointless to negotiate with the Natives as long as they've got their "fuck whitey" hate-on going full force. The Natives certainly pooped in their own hat with this episode, given that the City is probably going to shut off their access route to the casino, but too bad for them. From what I've read and heard over the past week there's zero sympathy and zero desire left to bother negotiating with the Tsuu Tina anymore.

Fuck them!! Sorry for being so outspoken but enough of this shit. 17 years and counting!! Figure out something different and build it. We've wasted enough time on this.

hey you mess with the bull and you get gored and left for dead on the street, Tsuu T'ina really fucked them selves in the ass on this one, and I don't have any sympathy for them either. If I were Ed and Bronco, I'd tell them its alright, we are going to go ahead with the new alignment, and they are no longer needed for consaultations, the price they pay for being douchebags

Bronco will cave, pander to the natives, then pander to the rest of Calgary and nothing will happen for a few years. It's how it always goes down in Cow Town and yet we still re-elect him.

he's done more than Durrer ever did, but anyways, you might be right, but I hope we just run Stoney Trail along the adjusted path.

It's about time that at least some form of government stands up to the natives. Don't like the offer then we will just move the road! Wish we had some federal politicians with this kind of balls!
