Sorry, Erik Millett. You had your 15 minuets of fame and you backed the wrong horse.
Go back to bullying the kids and leave politics to the grownups.

Since when is singing the natioanl anthem considered something that has to done behind closed doors so that we don't offend somebody. Singing one's national anthem is not anti immigrant its pro your country.

We have the same debate going on in the States.

I quess we agree to disagree about the value of a national anthem. I've leaned the Canadian NAtioanl Anthem as a sign of respect along with my own for the same reason.

I was talking about the principal!

I grew up in the States as a Canadian... and I rose for the Pledge in the mornings at school as well as the US anthem! If you're in a foreign land or your own, the anthem of that land should be respected just as other symbols of that land... or you have no business there

I guess this guy is just overly sensitive and off the wall...

this lady would hardly walk up to a principal and give him KKK handouts or whatever... he's overreacting just as he did in the first case

    Yea, what a drama queen.

We should all sink Maple Leaf Forever in the mornings too IMO.

I stand corrected and thank you.

There are a lot of folks from your country and mine buried in Normandy France so that we don't have to fight for our basic rights. As I said I know the words to Oh Canada and I repsect it.

This is a bizzare story, is this an attempt to back up his belief that our anthem is racist or not inclusive for all Canadians or both. Despite the fact its our national anthem.

This guy should just go away already, you think he learned his lesson.

Wow...a non immigrant pulling the racist card.. this guy should know when push comes to shove Canadians will respect our traditions and values. Nobody says you have to sing it,, but we sure as hell will play it and if you don't like it there are planes and boats ( the same ones that brought you here) leaving every day.. catch one!
