June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Paul McCartney, the former Beatle and vegetarian pop star, asked fans to go meatless on Mondays to help slow global warming by reducing the amount of gaseous emissions from farm animals. Cows, pigs and sheep bred for human consum

    Well one meat free day won't do squat. Those cows will still be waiting their turn on the chopping block and farting up a storm in the meantime.

    This guy should get another hobby, like RC Planes or stain glass making. Because no one is listening to his loony shit, even if he was a beatle.

    I agree with others here not eating more meat is causing gas, it would make more sense to have a government sponsered free burger day so we can make a dent in that damn cow population that's destroying or planet !

    This just proves that rock stars that exceed their "chokes to death on puke" day go down hill in tragic, public ways. Maybe we can send him some seal for his cow free days.
