Iran declares Ahmadinejad winner in disputed election

The Iranian government declared President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the winner of this week's election with 62.63 per cent support, results disputed by the leader's main rival as tensions between the two sides boiled over in Tehran.

    Doesn't matter if it is rigged or not, the only person in real power regardless of the outcome is the Ayatollah.

    Some reports say opposition leader Mousavi has been arrested.

    "Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi was reportedly arrested Saturday following the reformist's defeat at the polls by hardliner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad."

    The videos coming in on the protests are making it look like these guys are serious.

    I'd say they looked a little annoyed. The Iranian people overthrew their last absolute ruler, so maybe it's time for another change.

    the Iranian economy as been in the toilet for a while now, i'm sure that doesnt help.

    Good luck to the protesters, we could all use a change.
