    Chrysler's truck sales dropped 44.6 percent to 11,046 units, while car sales fell 64.6 percent to 2,611.



    General Motors

    General Motors of Canada (GMGMQ.PK), which filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States over the weekend, said its total May sales dropped 12.4 percent to 31,784 units. Car sales fell 40 percent to 12,168, while truck sales actually rose 22.5 percent to 19,616.


    Ford

    Total vehicles sales at Ford Motor Co of Canada (F.N) dropped less than at its competitors, down 7.3 percent to 21,900, to mark the company's seventh consecutive month of market share growth.

    Ford's Car sales fell 10.3 percent to 6,458 units while truck sales slid 5.9 percent to 15,442.


    Toyota
    Sales at Toyota Canada Inc (7203.T) skidded 25.2 percent to 21,316. The automaker's Toyota division saw sales fall 26 percent to 19,729 units last month while sales at its luxury Lexus division fell 13 percent to 1,587.



    Honda Motor Co
    Canada Inc (7267.T) sold 15,624 units in March, down 17 percent from last year.

    The company said its Honda division sold 14,046 units, down 17 percent, while its Acura division reported May sales of 1,578, down 21 percent from last year.

    What!!! GM's sales were 31,784 units compared to Toyotas 21,316... I thought Toyota was outselling GM in Canada.... :D :D :D

    I bought a truck this year, but it's a 1999 f-150 so.... :? ...not sure how my purchase figures in. :lol:
