so it looks like they confirmed something.

Funny, one of my customers went to Rio 18 months ago on an audit..
He has done that exact Air France run.

Dont go anywhere near Charles de Gaulle airport.

    Fly somewhere else and walk.

Seriously, most of my guys fly frequently, you should hear some of the
    shit they say about CDG.

I doubt this is an AF thing though.

It is sure not. Accidents happen to every airlines. The airplane is still much more safe than a car.

Thunder, lightning, severe turbulence, it was a weatherthing.

If drivers had the training a pilot goes through they'd be just as safe.

I fly a lot.. the absolute worst was Aeroflot the Russian airline from Helsinki to St. Petersburg and hate to say it but Canjet from Toronto to Cuba.. in both cases it was the plane and crew and shitty service.

I don't fly a lot. But always, a few days before I do, a plane falls out of the sky. I am flying Thursday

The black box cockpit recorders could be kilometres below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

The should make them float, somehow... Give them a life-vest thingy...

I was thinking also... Can you imagine what the last 15-30 minutes must have been like for all those people?

(fuck I fly tomorrow... I am scared now! :?)

No, to New York City :D

Yeah, I know, but hell, I rather keep both feet on the ground... The drive is just a bitch

Meh, NYC is a dump :)

I've been thru it, once was enough.

I cant think of what those last 15-20 mins must have been like,
it always freaks me right out.
And that 'safer than walking' doesnt help....
Must have been sheer terror for the people, I can imagine how 160km
winds can throw a plane around.

    B, check ur pms please.
