His name is Jacques Caron, and for most of Marty Brodeur's stellar career he's been the New Jersey star's goaltending coach

Even if the Blues get one of their three missing stars back, this feat is near impossible...

The series would have been closer if their Captain and best defenceman Eric Brewer and young defenceman Erik Johnson (Brewer & Johnson are the Blues two best d-men).

Also missing Paul Kariya hurt their powerplay.

Do what we Canuck fans had to do in previous playoffs when we had to make similar excuses. Just say, "Well get em next year".

BTW did you know Paul Kariya, and Eric Brewer are from BC? Also Barret Jackman. A little BC trivia there.

The Canucks are simply a far superior team right now. In every category. Hopefully St Louis fans remember what teh Blues pulled off just to get to the first round after a five-year playoff drought, but the fact is they ran into a battle-hardened contender.

Goaltending is everything in the playoffs. Luongo is the key. He's playing so well right now that the opposition is OVERPLAYING the puck, looking for the perfect shot. He's playing like Hasek did for the Sabres 10 - 15 years ago. When the team in front has that much confidence in their goalie, it's tough to beat them.
