Until now, scientists and politicians have maintained that if a rise in the global temperature can be limited to two degrees by 2100, dangerous climate change can be avoided.

The earth "tilting on it's axis " wasn't enough. Probably should have said "the earth will be knocked out of it's orbit"...suckers! give us some more research money.

Type Alberta into youtube and check out all the assholes who have never left the city making global warming video's from fort mac, they must spend all their savings on one trip and a plane rental so they can video*gasp* huge buildings(airport)some tailings ponds, the pits.Yet they fly over reclaimed land and use it for comparison to where active operations are and dont realize their flying over reclaimed land.
Damn near every one of them is selling a book too.

I think it's pretty clear we can't keep on cutting down huge rain forests and spewing out toxic waste and expect everything's going to be a-ok....but you'll forgive me if I saw that I don't think the world's going to explode if I use a plastic bag once in a while.

Best thing to do is what we are all already doing. Moving towards more environmentally friendly practices in day to day life and just keep at it. If we can cut a tree we can plant a tree. it's called global warming for a reason...because it's full of bullshite.

But the worlds going to end next week if we dont do something tomorrow.
I think were doing allright, especially with the economic meltdown going down right now.

I do agree though everyone should plant a tree or 3.

I feel bad,I heated my house with wood yesterday instead of clean burning natural Alberta gas,the guilt is killing me.

So, they want us to stop eating pigs and cattle? If we all become vegetarians won't we start farting more too, and hasten climate change? Eat more meat and save the planet!! The only thing I'm warming is the bed at night.
