New Brunswick's endangered bald eagle population is soaring to heights unseen in decades, new estimates from the Department of Natural Resources show.

    Good to see.
    This bird is native to almost ALL of North America, and they are quite a sight to behold
    On boxing day as I was getting out of my car at my Dad's house one flew right over us, I'm talking right in the city in Calgary (though he lives close to the river and Fish Creek park). It was amazing to me as an animal lover. Yesterday I had a Bobcat in my back yard as well, I got a pic but it's not very close up. amazing to see though.

    Its safe to say most of them reside in the CFB Gagetown training area.

    Haven't been to Gagetown since I was 11 years old, I do recall seing 1 or 2 there though.

    You should see them in the training area, hopefully I can get a few snapshots this summer with the new Camera. :D
